Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TrackVerse ("the platform"), operated at trackverse.pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of TrackVerse constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

2. Account Responsibilities

When you create a TrackVerse account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and onboarding.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share your password.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the platform.

3. Acceptable Use

TrackVerse maintains a zero tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Accounts that post objectionable content or engage in abusive behavior will be removed from the platform.

You agree not to use TrackVerse to:

  • Impersonate others: Create accounts or submit performance data under another person's identity.
  • Submit false data: Enter fabricated or intentionally inaccurate performance results or rankings information.
  • Harass or abuse: Engage in bullying, harassment, threats, or any form of abusive behavior toward other users.
  • Spam or solicit: Send unsolicited messages, promotions, or advertisements through the platform.
  • Interfere with the platform: Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer any part of TrackVerse's systems or infrastructure.
  • Violate laws: Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all personal data and performance information you submit to TrackVerse. By using the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display your data within the platform for its intended purposes, including rankings, leaderboards, and coach/scout features. You may revoke this license at any time by deleting your account.

5. Coach and Scout Features

Coaches and scouts who use TrackVerse agree to use athlete data responsibly and only for legitimate athletic recruitment, team management, and training purposes. Misuse of athlete data, including sharing it with unauthorized third parties, is a violation of these terms.

6. Service Availability

TrackVerse is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We strive to maintain high uptime and reliability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms of Service. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to:

  • Submitting false performance data or impersonating another user.
  • Harassing or abusing other users on the platform.
  • Attempting to manipulate rankings or leaderboards.
  • Any activity that threatens the integrity or security of the platform.

You may also voluntarily terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackVerse and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of athletic opportunities, or any other intangible losses. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrackVerse and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.
