Last updated: April 2026
TrackVerse ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at trackverse.pro and our mobile applications for iOS and Android (collectively, "the Service").
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Profile Information: Your role (athlete, coach, or scout), school or organization, graduation year, and other details you provide during onboarding.
- Performance Data: Athletic performance records, personal bests, event results, workout logs, and related statistics that you or your coach enter into the platform.
- Camera and Photos: When you grant permission, we access your device camera for the finish line timing feature and your photo library for profile picture uploads. Camera frames are processed on-device and are not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly save a result.
- Push Notifications: If you opt in, we collect your device push token to send you notifications about training reminders, race results, social activity, and platform updates.
- Connected Services: If you connect third-party services such as Strava, we receive activity data (workouts, routes, duration) that you authorize through those services. You can disconnect these integrations at any time in your settings.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with TrackVerse, including pages visited and features used.
- In-App Activity: Coins earned and spent through in-app activities such as training, racing, and cosmetic purchases. No real-money transactions are processed.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account and user profile.
- Display athlete rankings and leaderboards.
- Enable coach features such as team management and workout assignments.
- Allow scouts to discover and track prospective athletes.
- Generate personalized AI training plans and performance insights.
- Send push notifications and transactional emails (account verification, password resets, important updates).
- Manage in-app coin economy and cosmetic inventory.
- Improve and optimize the platform experience.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate TrackVerse:
- Supabase: Provides authentication and database infrastructure. Your email and authentication credentials are processed through Supabase. See their privacy policy.
- Resend: Handles transactional email delivery. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for the purpose of sending you platform-related emails. See their privacy policy.
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Powers AI training plan generation. Anonymized workout data may be sent to generate personalized plans. No personally identifiable information is shared. See their privacy policy.
- Strava: Optional integration for importing workout data. Only data you authorize is shared. You can revoke access at any time. See their privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
4. Device Permissions
The TrackVerse mobile app may request the following device permissions:
- Camera: Used for the finish line timing feature. Camera access is only active when you explicitly open the timing tool.
- Photo Library: Used to upload profile pictures and race photos.
- Notifications: Used to send training reminders, meet alerts, social notifications, and platform updates.
All permissions are optional and can be managed through your device settings at any time. The app functions without these permissions, though some features may be limited.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings, which will permanently remove your personal information and performance data from our systems. You may also export your data before deletion via the data export feature in settings. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes after account deletion.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure password hashing, rate limiting, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your account and associated data.
